Tribe of Dan owner, Mary Dark, has a long list of accomplishments
accredited to her name in the floral industry:
- She has been a retail floral designer for nearly thirty years.
- She was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Design in 1985.
- She is a former National Floral Marketer of the Year, as seen in Floral Management.
- Mary was featured in an issue of The Retail Florist.
- She owned Broadmoor Florist in Shreveport until 1998.
- As a guest artist, Mary has designed and commentated all over the United States.
- She has designed altars and worship settings for the Louisiana United Methodist Annual Conference.
- Mary has co-written a book on altar design entitled Awesome Altars which includes detailed ideas, illustrations and instructions for many seasonal and "ordinary time" altars in your church and sharing what she has learned over the past 10 years of designing altars.
